The End.........

Well its all over and done with. Was it perfect? No. Was it as I had always dreamed? No. Was it the most amazing feeling in the world to be finally united in holy matrimony with my dream man? Yes. Was it an amazing feeling being surrounded by our family on one of the most important days of our lives? Yes. Wow. Hindsight is 20/20 I guess. (that’s the way the saying goes right? Lol) I knew going into it that most of my hard work would go unnoticed but I also knew that the party wasn’t the point. The most important part of the whole day was the fact that I was marrying Luis. Period. I could rehash all that went wrong but I won’t. I will say I felt fabulous in both dresses and that Luis looked stunning in both of his outfits. Julian was attached to us the whole night and you know what? That’s okay. We got married because we love each other and because we love Julian (who looked adorable! Of course)I couldn’t have been happier all day long. It was truly a gift that so many of our friends and family truly support our union. Next up, the house …..then a baby?.................love Mrs. Perales xoxo

Charro and i dont mean the funny lady

So I will be doing a wardrobe change for the reception…from my dress to my grandmas dress. And Luis …not to be outdone…will be donning a charro suit. Basically it’s a mariachi suit. I think its really cute he wants to do it and soooooooooo him. Julian will wear his tuxedo and then wear a charro sombrero to the reception. It was tough finding a mini mariachi suit for Julian. Plus the fact that he doesn’t want to wear one. We aren’t positive on whether or not Julian will wear one but it would be adorable!

BootCamp..check!

Bootcamp is done and yeah ….hmmmm. Probably could have done without it. I will say I have still been getting up early which is a positive thing. But as far as my body goes with I don’t feel any different. In fact I feel a little fatter lol. My close fit the same. I will say I do feel a bit stronger but not by much. The area I wanted to change the most (my tummy), yeah no change at all. Of course I understand this class was not going to perform miracles but it would have been nice. Especially for the money I mean I expected a little more. The positive thing is that my dress fits me perfect and in all reality it doesn’t matter what my stomach looks like in my dress. And since we aren’t going on our honeymoon for a while the I think my next thing is going to be to try Zumba videos. We’ll see…….

The Flowergirl Situation

So finally after all the drama….the dresses are being made. Thank goodness. They are supposed to be ready today which hopefully they are because its really cutting it close. They are little girly ballerina dresses that hit at the knee and are poufy. Super cute and I am super relieved.Another thing done-ish ….

i never imagined i would have trouble finding flowergirl dresses. i figured my biggest problem would be choosing one out of the tons of adorable dresses. It was not that way. of course there has to be some drama....so i ordered the skirts you see below and yeah..that was a no go to say the least. then none of the local stores carried the size we wanted. and becuase i didnt think it would be a big deal we really couldnt order something becasue it would take forever. we finally figured it out and today i ordered the dress you see above. the drama is not over though....i just hope and pray it fits both of them! i guess we will see next week! xoxo

Adventure BootCamp

Today was Day 2 of a 20 day ( 5 days, 4 weeks) bootcamp i am doing with my coma/bestie/polar opposite Erikita! I am def already sore...they say the worse soreness comes after day 3 ...great! i am not looking foward to manana! So we get up @4:30 (except to day i woke up at 5 lol!)we leave the house by 5:10 , it starts at 5:30 ends at 6:30 on the dot. its actually really nice waking up early and going to bed is much easier because i am soooo tired. I am feeling good though........so far!

My Mom's Dress..............So the original dress..not gonna happen. We lagged it As usual and there was no way for the vestido to get here in time...boo-hoo. Well resouceful as always we went searching and searching. Unfortunetly for mi mommy ....a tiny bit of the bridezilla came out. lol. i was tired of shopping.anyway after everything. this is what she got>>>>>love it. she will look amazing and im happy we are done :D

So Much Drama in the CAC.....

Where did the time go? I remember last year when i was begining all my planning everyone said your starting too early, everything happens in the end 3 months. So True! However I am happy I started so early and secured the most important things. My dress:We got official engaged mid May and I had my dress by the end of May :) I got a super fab deal and an even more FAB dress.The Church: We got the date we wanted, the time we wanted, and our son was baptized there. The Hall: Not neccessarily our dream spot but it allowed us to keep cost down and will really stretch my creative muscles :D.
So now to the DRAMA.........which i'll admit is not really that dramatic. Lol but im a dramatic person so its all drama to me :( So my mom found a amazing dress but it takes 12 weeks to make and what we have 10 weeks before the wedding! why>! what to do? so now that plan is to go to LA Fashion District which is cool becuase I wanted to look for Flowergirl Dresses and possibly jewelry. I know we will find something great and priced well so I think it will all work out. The other option is to go to Davids Bridal becasue she like this two peice one shoulder thing ,I liked it too but she needs to order it today or tomorrow to get it in time for the wedding and be able to do alterations because shes a shorty lol. Last options THE MALL. Most likely Topanga ...my fav fav mall. Either way Im not stressed but it is a little drama which is fine in an otherwise surprisingly well planned organized wedding...lol which is subject to change heading into the final weeks :D love it all though!

iM bAKED........

I’ve decided that instead of spray tanning I will do fake baking lol I know I know its like 100% less healthy and safe but its less smelly and last longer. Also since im starting early I have more control over my color. I only want a soft glow but im starting now because I take forever to tan lol. Im on day 4 of tanning everyday until I get where I want and im barely getting some color ! im thinking ill go every day all next week too then Ill start going like 2-3 times a week for upkeep the wedding coming up and so are other events like my bach party and tons of tother events like quinces and weddings so we will see how it goes but im hopeful it will turn out well I’ll add pics soon

To Extend or Not Extend...

I ab love extensions! well at least for the first two weeks lol then i get restless! but i really really want long hair for my bach party, the engagement pics, and of course the wedding...im thinking of putting back in my extensions....like attached to my scalp or making clipins or going to the mall and getting clip in there....hmmmm what to do ....what to do.......luis thinks it looks fake sometime but maybe becasue my hair is longer it wont look so fakish. idk but i will contine to ponder it in my head knowing full well i am going to do it. lol i just dont know which avenue it will happen in .......wish me luck ! i just want to look fab is that so wrong :D

Ordered from New York after some crazy searching and searching. I LOVE the bow detail on the shoulder. It is absolutely perfect! She is going to look GORGEOUS!


MOG (Mother of the Groom ): My future Mom in law, the fab Juanis will be wearing this in a cornflower blue (also not the color shown in the pic). It looks so great on her. i love it. its trendy and very flattering! she will look amazing that day!


Velacion Madrina: Christy will be wearing this uber elegant dress. It is gorgeous and super flattering. She will be wearing it in watermelon a beautiful dark bright pink.lol and once again not in the color shown!

Icing on the Cake :)

So..........my cake topper arrived and wow! its amazing! i cant believe i actually found! i love the internets! yes! so i ended up paying a whopping 13.94 thats including shipping! can you believe it! i sometimes even amaze myself :)It was dicontinued or oyut of stock everywhere oh and it was 39.99 but amazingly i found it at a store in Peoria, IL and although they are not set up to take online orders they were able to do it over the phone. I am just exctatic. it came in great condition and is exactly what i wanted. So happy!

the veil.........

Who would have thought that picking the veil would actually be difficult! I thought it would be cake lol so not the case!!! Camarillo Bridal closed @ 8 and we left at like 8:45 (Thanks Marissa xoxo) I did make a final decision but it was tough! There are a ton of different sizes and styles! Since my dress is ivory with pewter beading it was hard to get an exact match.... I think I tried on like 20 different veils! I walked in thinking i knew what I wanted and half of it stayed the same ( still def want a big white flower in my hair) but i was kind of thinking I wanted a cathedral style super long veil but after trying one on I realized it took away from the dress! The one I fell in love with hit at the hips in the perfect spot and was a cascading shape…the round shape wasn’t doing it for me! The cascade shape is gorgeous! It is embellished with beading ... Not too much as to take away from the dress but just enough to give it that wow factor!!! The best part of the whole thing was the fact that I got to put on my dress!!! *sigh ....I wish I could try it on everyday lol! I was so happy to be in it!! I love it more and more each time I see it! I’m so glad I put it because I actually had a huge epiphany while wearing it! I originally wanted to change it to a sweetheart neckline but after putting it one with the straps held in place ... Omg it looks so amazing and classic and delicate and romantic just the way it is!!! I’m so excited I decided against the sweetheart neckline because it is so played out! Plus the shape of the dress is va va voom as it is ... The dainty straps add class to it :) I love it and I can’t wait for Luis to see me in it

Something Blue

Last night my mom I went to Off Broadway to check out some shoes for my fabulous bridesmaids :) the shoes we went to check out came in a really pretty royal blue....hmmm wouldnt it be amazing if my something blue was MY SHOES! So I tried them on and OMG! They were perfect! So comfy! I could walk in them all day long. On top of that they are gorgeous! I feel like a Barbie® i cant wait to wear them and see peoples shock when Luis takes off my garter :)

pink is me

I was rereading my first post and realized I had buttercup as the bridesmaids dresses! That's so 3 months ago ! Lol so I changed my mind and went with my gut and I'm going with pink instead! It's just me! While yellow would have been gorgeous abd elegant but when I envision my wedding I see pink! And I think when others envision my wedding they picture pink too <3 so anywho this is the bridesmaids dresses. And the color is sweet pea! I adore the dress it is flattering to all shapes and sizes! They are going to look gorgeous but not as gorgeous as me lol

Okay so it turns out it was just a big mix up. Ladesma (the last name in OUR wedding spot) either doesn’t exist or got their asses booted! Lol But in Father Steve’s personal agenda we are there Lamas-Perales 3pm 06.19.2010!!!!!!!!So that drama is over……….bring on the next thing! ;o)I’m totally ready for whatever: with my sister as my maid of honor, a super supportive loving fiancé, my silly little handsome son Julian making me smile along the way and the support of my entire family…………….nothing can bring me down.

Houston! We have a Problem................

How am I taking this major catastrope so well???? Because .... It's not the end the world and it's not like we are calling off the wedding. It's a "possible" set back and a major inconvienence. So I called the church yesterday to see if they had one o clock available instead of three o clock. So you can imagine my surprise to find out they didn't even have a down for 3 on the 19th of June! I was like are you kidding me!!! But I calmly told her we had secured the date since may of last year! She said they were using a new scheduling system and she was new to the position and that it more likely than not it was a typo because they could find nothing on file for the other last name that was set for 3 on my wedding day. The last name was something that started with a D so I don't know. She said Father Steve should have the right name written in his personal agenda but that he was on a conference call and she would call me tomorrow. Ugh!!!! So now it's just me waiting for that call! In all reality I could move it up two weeks or push it back two weeks... We haven't made invites or save the dates but still the added stress is not welcomed! I'll just keep thinking positive and hope that it's a big mix up!!!!'

Begining to Stress!........

p>Ugh! I thought I could get through this stress-free .... Wrong. This is all so time consuming.... Don't get me wrong I love doing it but truthfully it is getting to me. So we have the sp community center for sure ..... But it is a white box......I heard the Glen Tavern can hold wedding and they can do 300+.... only thing is it would be outside and Luis is not too happy about that ..... I found this other amazing place I am going to check out on Friday but it's a little over our budget and it's in Pt Hueneme. Should I stick with what we have????? I would love to do it outdoors.... The other thing about the more expensive place is that it can hold 450.... On top of all that we still have flowers decorations cake invites etc to do!!! It will all be worth it...xoxo

Wedding Diet!!!!

6 months to go and I have to get serious about getting in shape.... It's not so much losing weight as it is getting toned! I want to wear a bikini on my honeymoon and feel confident! So this is what I'm thinking:
Breakfast: coffee no real sugar, rice cake with nutella ( lovvvvvee it! I wonder how healthy it really is????? Investigation time)
Lunch: mmm idk I'm thinking soups or veggie patties
Dinner: either a veggie patty and egg or a small portion of whatever Luis mom makes anytime before 6 or the healthiest choice possible if we go out
I feel like I can do this because I am extremely motivated! Next is my exercise routine ....
